Hey friend! We are so stinkin excited to be sharing this beautiful Dogwood Venue wedding with you today! Possibly the most beautiful sunset we’ve ever photographed, a beautiful love like we’ve never seen, and a bridal party that brought the fun.. Quite frankly it was a breaktakingly perfect day! 

Surremy and Jacob’s day was full of the most genuine emotions, and the love they share for each other was on full display!  I mean their first look… it was truly beautiful. And as we relive that moment, we find ourselves just as Jacob was.. 

Speechless 

That moment, with tears running down our cheeks as we photographed the intimate moment of Jacob seeing his beautiful bride for the first time is a memory we will never forget. It was as if time had stopped, the earth had paused it’s spinning, and nothing else existed. 

There were no words spoken. And that was perfectly fine. Because Jacob – was speechless. Their first look was real. It was raw. It was love. 

As Jacob pulled Surremy in close and hugged her tightly, crackling words of “your just so beautiful” could be heard. It’s okay ladies, you can let the tears flow when you scroll and see Jacob’s reaction – because we’re over here crying all over again! 

And the best part? 

Surremy and Jacob spent the entire rest of their day – together, with their best friend! Surremy and Jacob, every time we’ve been together God’s love has shined through you two. On your own you are both so good, but together it’s as if you’re one earthshaking picture of God’s love. 

And your day was such a reflection of this! Every  time we think back to your wedding day we are filled with feelings of love and joy! Each member of your bridal party was concerned with one thing, making your day the best it could be for you!  You even had friends fly in from Belgium! 

As you two held hands in front of God, your families and the people who love you most, we couldn’t help but see ourselves in you two! 

Memories of Ryan crying during our first look, again while Anna walked down the aisle, and as he read his vows; just like Jacob. And Surremy, Anna is still working on being a “hugger” as well! 

But really, your wedding was such reminder that marriage truly is the best! We’ve been so blessed by our marriage and we’re so thankful you chose us to capture the beginning of yours! Your beautiful day literally took our breath away! 

Surremy and Jacob we love you two so much! From watching Surremy running around as a little girl and now photographing your wedding, you two are like family to us! We are so excited to see everything that you two accomplish, walking through life hand in hand! And always remember these two things.. We’re always here to be a Refuge for you! And you can choose to be #HoneymoonersForever!
