A Dream

Have you ever dreamed that you were falling – only to wake up right before you were going to hit the ground? You wake up.. heart pounding, mind racing, adrenaline flowing – it felt so real. So alive.

So Refreshing

As we pulled out of Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville Louisiana after yesterdays engagement session, those were the exact feelings that we were having! Quite frankly, yesterday’s engagement session with Gabriella and Ben was A DREAM!  From the moment we pulled in Fontainebleau and saw the beautiful Spanish Moss filled trees and the sun kissing off the water, something just felt right. You could feel the warmth of the sun on your face and the wind was blowing a refreshing breeze. But the breeze couldn’t compare to the refreshment that came from being around Gabriella and Ben! It was in the way they looked each another with love burning in their eyes. It was like they cherished each time that their eyes made contact and wanted to make the most of it each moment. You could feel how thankful they are to have found each other and believe in celebrating that!

 Worth Celebrating

Gabriella and Ben are the couple that you find yourself wanting to spend more time with. You think to yourself, “If more people were like them, the world would be such a better place.” Their love is infectious and we could see it so clearly! It was in the way they spoke to each other and the fun love they shared! We saw so much of ourselves in how Gabriella and Ben would laugh at each other – and with each other! The love that they share is so full of life and joy and it won’t take you long to see what we mean while you scroll through some of our favorite images!

Oh, and can we just pause to notice how good these two did with their outfits?! If we’re dreaming please don’t wake us up, ya’ll!

Gabriella and Ben, where do we even begin with you two?! We are so thankful that your education brought you from Jackson, Tennessee and Pensacola, Florida to Hattiesburg, Mississippi! And guys we’re so thankful that God’s plan includes us getting to know you! Because having the honor of photographing your engagement session and wedding, doesn’t compare to being able to call you both friends. This is such an exciting time for you and we’re so proud of you both for finishing your Doctorate in Physical Therapy as you close in on your wedding! We had the best time with you at your engagement session from talking about traveling to Italy and sharing our dreams – we absolutely can’t wait to continue celebrating you two in all that you’re going to achieve together!  We hope you see so much love and joy in these images because it was on full display throughout your session! You two were a dream to photograph and we absolutely can’t wait for your wedding at Southern Oaks next August! 

We’re so excited to be a part of such a special time in your lives and we love you both so much! Never forget that we’re always here to be a Refuge for you!!
