Miranda + Nathan’s Proposal Story

We are so excited to finally share one of the most epic proposal stories ever! 

When our assistant Miranda joined our team back in September, Nathan reached out to us to tell us his plans to ask Miranda to marry him to say we were excited would be an understatement! 

Nathan had secretly flown to Chicago to get the most perfect ring for Miranda from Tiffany and Co. and had plans to pop the question at one of their favorite places in 30a, a boardwalk near his family’s former home.

It was too easy to have some fun with Miranda while she was at work. We would ask her when she thought nathan would ever pop the question and it was hilarious hearing her not so patent responses. If she only know all that Nathan had up his sleeve.

On the weekend of Nathan’s parents 29th wedding anniversary. Nathan told Miranda they were planning a surprise for his Mother, Amy down at the beach. Miranda had absolutely no idea the surprise was actually for her.

The stage was set

Miranda and Nathan made their way down to the beach on Nathan’s favorite boardwalk. When they were almost down to the beach Nathan stopped her and told Miranda what was happening. Shocked and overwhelmed with emotion Miranda immediately started sobbing!

After Miranda said yes they both were congratulated by all their families and enjoyed a beautiful dinner on the beach with a bonfire and memories that will last forever.

Capturing surprise proposals are one of the reasons why we love what we do. We are so happy we were a part of Miranda + Nathan’s special day and can’t wait till January!
